Through workshops Rhythm Quest works to create bridges from the lattice that is the universal human language – to open hearts and minds to the wonder and power of music.

Workshops provide a first hand experience that connects people to an ancient, global human practice and then demonstrate an inspiring contemporary interpretation that suggests possibilities for music in an increasingly interconnected world.

In showing an expansive range of options in the rhythmic language of music, and the capabilities of instruments not widely used in the West, we work to inspire musicians to think more globally about their work.

We hope to provide people with an experience that encourages them to want to connect with folks from other cultures. Through exposure and experience with instruments from other parts of the world people can have shared experiences that can lead to deep, meaningful, cultural connections.
